I am a fully qualified surveyor with fourteen years experience in all aspects of building defects.  I'm accredited by the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA), which is a representative body for independent specialist residential surveyors, who are the industry's leading specialists in reporting on the condition of residential properties on behalf of home buyers. 

I am also a Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatments. This means I am able to offer expert opinion on all matters relating to damp or timber issues.

When buying a property your first port of call will usually be a Valuation survey. This may or may not include a visit to the property, but is not a Home Buyers/Condition survey. Many purchasers are not aware that the valuation survey is to ensure the mortgage lender is not at risk of loosing money should there be a problem with the property at a later date, and does not consititute a thorough inspection of the property. 

We are proud members of the RPSA, who are the largest governing body for independent surveyors in the United Kingdom.
